Hi All,

It's been a long time since we release TSP 0.8.3.
I think we need a TSP 0.8.4 release
and may be a corresponding JTSP 0.8.x release.

Is anyone wanting to try our marvelous release process?

http://cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/tsp/ReleaseProcess.txt?root=tsp&view=markup

Note that we need both:
    1) a single person who may take times to prepare the release
    2) several person who are ready to compile+test on several platforms
        (Linux x86, x86_64, Solaris, Windows XY, ...)

I don't we need the release NOW, but may be we can try to plan it
and thus save some time in the volunteer(s) agenda for it.

The release process usually eats up to 2-3 days since
it needs to "converge" after everyone tested the release candidate
in its own environment.

I would be glad not to drive this release, first because I lack time
and because I think it's good for TSP to have more than 3 peoples
which have experienced releasing TSP.

Currently [only] 4 persons already did the work:
    - Stephane (GALLES), at the very beginning when there was no
release process at all
and that was a tough work :=)
    - Yves DUFRENNE
    - me (Eric NOULARD)
    - Frederik (DEWEERDT) taste the joy of TSP release for 0.8.3

Who's next?
Any TSP commiter may do the job if he can find time to do it.
I will be willing to help the unexperienced releaser for the job.
