Hi all, The first openSUSE.Asia Summit will be held in Beihang University this weekend (Oct. 18, Oct. 19).
openSUSE is a Linux distribution and this event aims to promote openSUSE and other free software. Talks in this event can be found at http://summit.opensuse.org/#schedule. Experts from the community and industry will share their experience about many new techniques. Quite a few of these talks are given in English, so this event would be very friendly to both Chinese and international students. Besides, there're some workshops held in this event, which participants can bring their own computers and finish a small project with the lecturer. Workshops includes QT programming, OBS packaging system, docker, etc. Those who want to learn programming or app developing, I highly recommend you to take part in the workshops. This event is non-commercial and free to everyone, but only those who has signed up online can get presents when checking in.
