>From reading the examples, I've got an impression that tup is capable of
discovering inputs and outputs not explicitly listed in the tupfiles by
monitoring file I/O. How far does this feature go?
Suppose I have a Tcl, Perl, or Python script A, which includes or calls
script B, which includes or calls script C. The command specified in the
tupfile would only mention running script A. Will a change to script C be
noticed to trigger a rebuild or give a message/error?
That would be a really awesome feature, as not everybody is diligent enough
to always explicitly list their input sources.
