Hi,
I'd like to use tup for my project, but as far as I remember tup had
troubles working with output directory different than the source
directory, which is a must for me.
Has this been fixed?
This behavior was changed a long time ago. Currently a Tupfile (or
Tupfile.lua) can read files from anywhere and write them anywhere. So
it's quite possible to have only one Tupfile for your whole project, as
well as it is possible to output files to some "build" directory. The
only limitation is that the output must be within tup hierarchy.
Don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions about this feature!
