I have had no problems with calling tup from the command line with pdb et
al. specified as extra outputs. But when I setup tup as the build command
in visual studio and try to build the pdb files aren't always seen by tup.
Has anyone else experienced this, any work arounds?

I would set the extra outputs as hidden outputs so tup doesn't have to
track them, but I'm not sure how to do that in the latest versions where
tup tracks dot files. Is it possible?
