The scheduler service is still having a problem when shutting down. This is
the same problem that I reported on beta 2. The problem seems to be this:
When the BaseServiceBroker.shutdownServices() is called it starts shutting
down services. However, once it shuts down the LoggingService, none of the
other services get shutdown. This includes the scheduler service. I think
that this has been happening for a while but it is now a little easier to see
because the Scheduler service tries to log an entry when it starts a new
thread and it errors out because the LoggingService is no longer available.
This also seems to cause Tomcat to leave the java scheduler thread running
that does not get shut down with the servlet engine.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Perhaps the LoggingService just needs to
be shut down last?
Thanks,
John
