AFAIU the problem for you is that you are trying to get _new_ TDK to work
with _old_ turbine. I do not see why this is needed and doubt that is
possible at all in the long run (when turbine 2 & 3 become more different).
And who needs that anyway? If you want TDK to work with two versions of
turbine you need two TDKs...
