Jason, Just wanted to let you know that we had great success at our last client (a uk-based property portal www.rightmove.co.uk), and implemented a Turbine/Tomcat based architecture, that is now serving over a million pages a day. The cheap cost of scalability made coping with increasing load no problem.
We are now thinking about developing a new product, with a service based architecture. I would really like to use Turbine 3 in this product - I'm especially interested in the seperation of fulcrum and turbine, and also the new view model. I know that Scarab are using Turbine 3, but they are also (as far as I am aware) using the old layout/nav/screen model. i don't quite understand whether the current tdk (in cvs) is designed for use with turbine 3 or 2.2 (im guessing 2.2). I can get all the required jars from the Scarab cvs, but do you have any info on 3 regarding the new view system? Do you still haunt IRC? If so which channel?
