I have no intension of modifying the jgl source.  There are some good
resources here, but much of what is used (thread pooling, queuing) can
be found in Jakarta.  I can switch if there is a need or when a high
quality alternative is brought to my attention.  Tomorrow I will try and
document everywhere that it is used, so replacements can be found.

It is a *very* fast, lightweight server, suitable for embedding in
applications.  

I could switch to tomcat, since it is mainly used for monitoring the
remote cache and running examples. 

I don't think the license is a problem though:

I think it is an xml parser used and distributed by jetty.  I can't
remember.
