I agree that sentences are good :-) I'm all for applying well respected
style guide. The Chicago Manual of Style?

I used to use that and Hart's Rules when copy editing (yes, I actually
copy edited books: you wouldn't guess that from looking at most of my
email).

Definitely, I think that's a good point. Consistency in documentation
can only be a good thing.
