Hi,
I just added our homebrewn changes to the Security Service which makes
the Group, Permission, Role and AccessControlList configureable. This
is mainly the same patch I had in Turbine-2 for a short time until
other users found out, that applying this patch, while still having
the same functionality, breaks older applications that expect
AccessControlList to be a class and not an interface.
We're using this patch as an addon to T-2 ever since without any
problems (it is one of the cornerstones of a large application here)
and now that it is Fulcrum-Time for us, I'm proposing it again for
addition to Fulcrum.
I put the patch and a short README into proposals/securityservice.
If no one objects, I would check this into the CVS on friday.
