I submit them to Scarab because it has the following advantages:
1. Patches and just plain issues shouldn't get lost as they tend to do on
the mailing lists
2. There is a nice place to store files and keep discussion - it should be
easier to track down changes in Scarab than on the mailing lists
3. We don't end up sending patch files to all subscribers on the list
(perhaps not such a good thing as it could reduce the number of eyes that
see a change before it gets committed)
4. It is easier for the multitude of committers to find and apply patches
without tripping over one another (in reality it appears that most of the
turbine committers are busy elsewhere, making only occasional brief visits
and even then not necessarily noticing patches wherever they are submitted
:-( )
