The following modifications were made to this issue:
I think that I found your problem. In the 2.1 version, a field was not considered to
be set if you did not specify anything for the value in the HTML form. This is what
was causing issue TTWS20 as well. The setRequired() method will not check anything if
the field was not set.
This has been fixed in the 2.3-dev version. Is is possible for you to migrate to 2.3?
If not, I think that you will be stuck with backporting the changes to intake in 2.3
into the 2.1 version. Unfortunately, 2.1 is no longer maintained.
