Sounds like a good option for Tammi, though.

I just made a proposal for Maven to see if the developers want to move
up to a top-level Apache project so I want to do the same here. I can
borrow all the goodies I used from the db.apache.org project and mock up
a site for people to look at.
We can include what we have now and it could also be a place for things
like Tammi and Plexus/Summit. We basically have our own little eco
system so as other projects are breaking out of Jakarta I think it might
be time for us to do the same.
Unless Jakarta is going to be totally eliminated, I'm not sure moving
Turbine makes sense (though I do agree that moving Maven makes
sense). The original charter of ASF's Jakarta project was for
server-side Java code, which fits Turbine to the t.
Fair enough, I was thinking more along the lines of application
framework in general. Things like Plexus and Tammi. But I can let it
rest. If people are happy with Turbine here then that's totally cool.
