Dear Developer,
I am running Tomcat4 from the Sun JWSDP-1.1 Pack. I have tried to install
Jetspeed1.4-b3 on this (place the war file it in the webapps directory) and
come against problems when invoking the
http://localhost:8080/jetspeed/index.jsp
The stack trace points to
org.apache.jetspeed.om.security.turbine.BaseTurbineUserPeer.initClass(BaseTurbineUserPeer.java:154)
When I checked the source code it said that this category of error was
fatal and should never happen and advised to email the developers.
When I refresh the browser the error changes to a Horrible Exception:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
at
org.apache.jetspeed.services.security.turbine.TurbineUserManagement.getUser(TurbineUserManagement.java:166)
Subsequent refreshes give the same NoClassDefFoundError.
