Well, I didn't know Martin had put together a tdk when I started this
effort :) but I will try to drop in the test app the system now generates
into the tdk martin put out and see if it works.

I'm not sure if there are any major differences but I did build my
turbine-2.3.jar from the latest cvs as of about a week ago and I believe
there have probably been a few bugs fixed since the release martin put out
in September, although I don't have a list of them.

.... I just built my newapp sample from my tdk and dropped it into
Martin's and it worked without any problems.

I did do a lot of cleanup in the build files that seemed to still be
lingering from the older tdk's and also got rid of any reference to
turbine 3 within the tdk since we are considering turbine 3 to be off the
path of future turbine development

Also, my tdk also does setup intake service properly from the get-go so
you don't have to spend the hours I did figuring it out ;)

another difference I can think of off hand is it is based on tomcat-4.1.29
which is the latest production release they have to offer, so if you are
wanting to update your whole toolbox, I did attempt to use the latest
stable releases of the different pieces I could find
