The second release candidate for the Maven Environment for Turbine Applications 1.3, a maven plugin to develop Turbine applications is now available from http://cvs.apache.org/dist/jakarta/turbine/releases/rc/meta-1.3-rc2/ The current docs are available at http://cvs.apache.org/dist/jakarta/turbine/releases/rc/meta-1.3-rc2/docs/ This is the latest release of META plugin. It contains no known bugs and open issues from the bug tracker and has been tested using maven 1.0.2. This version contains support for the upcoming Turbine 2.3.2 release. This release is mainly targeted at Java SDK 1.4.x and beyond. If you use 1.4, your applications will use less jars to be bundled with your application. META still supports the 1.3 JDK. CfV for META 1.3 is currently planned for Monday, September 26th. Please report problems with this RC to our issue tracker at http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRB under "M.E.T.A." component.
