I have done some work with the TCP Lateral cache. I had found that the
recovery of connections did not work very well when I ran any more than 2
nodes.
Unfortunately my changes have been made in conjunction with other changes
that affect some of the higher-level APIs. So you just can,t take just
those flxes. I will try to split those fixes into something that can be
submitted...if people think this is worthwhile

How to bring up the LTCP listener. Whether we have to invoke a
special method to ensure that LTCP is listening on the specified port.
When
we try to initialize JCS, LTCP starts listening as well as it tries to
connect with other servers in the group. Since all the servers doesn't
start
at the same time, find and connect fails at least for on LTCP instance
(because LTCP server for one particular hasn't started then).
