Look and feel issues are very subjective - no one is ever completely
happy. Given that fact, and the fact that one of the Maven design goals
is to have consistent looking sites (the only variation being color
selections), I'd prefer to utilize what the experts at style.tigris.org
have carefully designed, trusting that they know how to do their job the
best (versus us measly developers :-)

Therefore I propose we just use their style (which I think most of us
generally like), rather than debating these types of issues endlessly.
The way we've setup the stylesheets is very convienent for upgrades
from style.tigris.org. Its simply a matter of replacing the existing
ones, which keeps the process as simple as possible.

Perhaps look and feel issues should be deferred to their mailing lists
instead, so that any changes are made at the source. This will also
give them a chance to hear the opinions of more people and get better
feedback which will only improve things for everyone.

Thanks!
Pete

ps I actually prefer the "cleaner" look without the additional clutter
    in the collapsable links :-)
