Yep, I was going to make them ${jarName}-LICENSE.txt, i.e. jdom-b8-LICENSE.txt.

I wish the jars came with a license inside, but usually it's part of the distribution, rather than the jar...

I'm assuming the name of the license file will be something like
<jar-name>-LICENSE.txt, unless you intend to provide some sort of mapping
file.

Question: why aren't license files included in the META-INF directory in a
jar?
