Will these changes be documented on the site somewhere? I haven't had time
to follow all of the conversations regarding the POM and I will be telling
my users to use the newly released maven (once it's ready).

BTW - is there a way to setup a project to use either? So that I can
continue to use HEAD (helping to develop and find bugs), but also to make
sure that any project that requires a released version doesn't get something
added in by accident, forcing my users to also use HEAD?
