I am wondering if a plugin relies on a particular Ant release, we may also want to depend on the jars distributed with that Ant release. Will what your suggesting prevent that? I found at one time in the past that Ant only worked with the jars it was released with. ( xercesImpl.java and xml-apis.java ) which seem different than standard releases of those things.
