As part of cleaning up the updating mechanism, which will now be simple
using jelly. I will add a way for several versions of Maven to be
installed and used as there will certainly be cases where different
projects are using different versions of Maven and we can't assume, like
it is now, that you always want to upgrade. For your own development you
may want to stick to version x while other projects may still be using y
and z.
