Hi, Several Maven plugins use the Velocity taglib and previous to this release Velocity was part of the core Maven distribution. This is not the case anymore and I didn't test every last plugin so if you get ClassNotFound exceptions in conjunction with the Velocity Tag Lib where you didn't before this is the reason.
