I brought this up before and the issue never really got resolved... Thought I would try again.
I think retrieveByPK should be modified to return null when it gets zero rows back from the database. It should only throw an exception if it gets more than one row. Someone else had suggested adding extra methods that function this way, and keeping the retrieveByPK methods as they are. I'd prefer modifying them, but would settle for the second option. I'd really like to see one of these solutions make it into the release candidates. -james -- [] James A.
