Stephen Ya know what, the first time I read your response I misunderstood it. Unfortunately, upon closer examination it still doesn't jibe with me. Allow me to paraphrase to see if understand:
This flag controls whether or not Torque will drop and recreate the entire database, not whether it will drop and recreate the tables within the database? My previous understanding of this flag was that if it is set to true, the sql scripts are still created but not executed so I guess I was misled by the doc. ....so does this mean I better start building scripts to populate my data every time I need to rebuild the app? Or is there another trick that is employed? thanks -b On Thu, 2002-10-24 at 15:45, Stephen Haberman wrote: > Er, okay, I cut too much that...that was in response to question 4. > > - Stephen > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Stephen Haberman [mailto:stephenh@;chase3000.com] > > Sent: Thursday, October 24, 2002 2:37 PM > > To: 'Turbine Torque Developers List' > > Subject: RE: Questions regarding auto db creation > > > > > > It looks like the doc might be wrong; I'm fairly sure the that setting > > only controls whether the DROP DATABASE/CREATE TABLE commands are > > executed.
