Problem: brent$ ant -version Apache Ant version 1.5 compiled on July 11 2002
brent$ java -version java version "1.3.1" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build Blackdown-1.3.1-FCS) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build Blackdown-1.3.1-FCS, mixed mode) brent$ ant -f build-torque.xml Buildfile: build-torque.xml BUILD FAILED file:/usr/local/cvs/jakarta/torque-3.0-b3/build-torque.xml:23: taskdef class org.apache.torque.task.TorqueDataModelTask cannot be found Total time: 1 second I searched the archives for a solution, but no suggested solution worked, nor did I see where any complainant announced resolution. I have tried this with ant versions 1.4, 1.4.1 and 1.5; torque versions 3.0-b2, 3.0-b3 and cvs-HEAD; even tried building cvs version with maven. I tried making $CLASSPATH contain every jar file in torque-xxx/lib and ant/lib, and tried installing/patching the build-torque.xml file as suggested on the mailing lists. Everything I do still yields a taskdef similar to the one shown above. What can I do to get torque to work? thanks. Brent -- "Develop your talent, man, and leave the world something.
