Hi Sean,
i have had a similar problem with the same 'result'. After some experiments
it seems to me as if addDescendingOrderByColumn() and
addAscendingOrderByColumn() only work for integer, double, etc. but not for
other data types (bug?).
I solved my problem by using some addGroupByColumn().
