I've seen this before.

The function referred to is a mysql function for setting the
autoIncrement. The postgres alternative does work, so I think you have a
configuration problem where torque is looking to its default setup of
mysql. Torque.properties is rewritten from Torque.Template or some such
on each 'ant init' so have you changed the database settings in
Torque.Properties and not in Torque.Template? I have postgres native
sequences working in 2.2-b3 so you should be able to get it working.
