I have some questions about sql-xml:
I'm working with PowerDesigner for the data modelling and want to create the
schema xml from this.
I created the SQL for an ORACLE database. sql-xml could not read this. As a
workaround, I generated the same SQL for MySql. This doesn't work either.
What kind of sql is supported?
As a workaround, I stripped the generated SQL, so that only the table
definitions with primary key constraints remains. Now the generation of the
xml schema worked. But the content of the file was a little bit confusing:
- VARCHAR(xx) and CHAR(XX) are mapped to VARCHAR without any size
- NUMERIC is mapped to VARCHAR
- ...
Any help?
