Yes, I have added a new target in the TDK project build file
for deploying web applications and it doesn't include the src/
or build/ directories. The structure of the directory in
the TDK is strictly for development. When you deploy you
can do anything you want.
I have a TDK document that will be up by the end of the week
so we can discuss and sort these issues out. I hope we can
arrive at a model that all turbine projects can use, and make
it so there is a great deal of value in using the TDK.
Off the top of my head some of things that the TDK will offer
are deployment strategies for projects, unit testing facilities
for your web app, and upgrade tool to make it easy to keep
your turbine application up-to-date and a bunch of other things
that I have written down but can't remember.
I would also like to change the structure of the layout for
an app in the TDK. Scarab has some good ideas and there model
is working well for them. But I'd like to hear all the ideas
and then push to get a unified, agreed upon setup into the
TDK before we release 2.1.
