Turbine does support Interbase but it is not fully integrated into the
TDK. If you read the TDK howto
(http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/howto/tdk-howto.html)
you will see a list of DB/Platform combinations that are being used
successfully. If you want to get Interbase working with the TDK
that would be great!

After you created the database by yourself what happened.
You may want to example the generated SQL carefully because I don't
know anyone using Interbase. From your log it all looks like SQL
and configuration errors.
I know Leon uses Interbase so he might be able to help but there
are no testers using Interbase so it is not fully supported
in the TDK. If you could start taking a look at the generated
SQL that would help us out a lot and any future Interbase users
that try the TDK.
