This is correct, the how-to shows how to setup Catalina and JBoss so that
you can make calls from clients (I do it in Turbine Actions) to JBoss.
Without performing the tweaks that I describe in the how-to you end up
getting (unknown protocol:jndi) errors.
I am working on a producing a tutorial that gives example code of JBoss
being called in actions and the Velocity context being populated with data
from the EJB then displayed via templates. It should be done soon. When it
is, I will post a link to the list.
