It is kind of strange. After looking deeper in the issue it ignores the
template and calls /Index.vm or whatever it is configured in
TurbineResources.props I breifly looked at the source code of
org.apache.turbine.Turbine.java and it seems that in some situations it
tries to do a redirect. It is wird, that if I make the following changes
in web.xml I get the same results either in Resin or Catalina. However
Resin does not do anything at all if I don't include this changes.

<servlet-name>myapp</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/servlet/*</url-pattern>

I can find is they way the URL's are constructed. By example in my app
the
same URL would be:
http://localhost/myapp/servlet/template/admin,Index.vm
So I think you might fix your error by changing the servlet mapping
to:
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>myapp</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/servlet/myapp/*</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
In this way your URL's worked in my application; in the other hand I
haven't been able to reproduce the same
error so it may be a different problem, but I think it worth a try. What
version of Turbine are you using, btw?
