Hi Pattrick,
You are talking about Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise - right?
ASE is case sensitive by default. (You can change this behavior
only when creating the database)
The error-message prints 'next_id', you say the table name is
'NEXT_ID'. Maybe somewhere the case is converted??
