Email functionality using Turbine/Velocity

Still fighting to get the email functionality working.

 I'm getting a TurbineException: Error rendering Velocity template:
null. In the Stack Trace, a NullPointerException is shown. 

The problem seems to appear in method decodeRequest of the
TurbineVelocityService class. I guess I'm having a problem somewhere
between the Context, the RunData and the template I'm using for the body
of the email. Does anyone know where can be the exact problem?
