I tried this by adding right below the already uncommented line in
server.xml:
<Host name="localhost" debug="0" appBase="webapps" unpackWARs="true">
<!-- I cut out a lot of the commented stuff here for this email -->
<Context path="" docBase="site" reloadable="true"/>
<!-- Line I added is below -->
<Context path="/engine" docBase="engine" reloadable="true"/>
</Host>
I'm not sure if I should leave the first line, but I figured it won't hurt
for now. I added the second one below it and it doesn't seem to be doing
anything. I modify my screens/Index.java file and nothing changes unless I
recompile and restart the server. It would be really nice if I didn't have
to do this every time I make a code change.
Any ideas or problems you see with what I tried?

Ohh I forgot, you don't need to restart the server if you
have changed your server.xml to tell catalina/tomcat to reload
classes for your project/context. I think server.xml is in
tdkrootdir/conf/. There is an example in there already on
how to do this for the newapp/testapp. just search for
reload=
