As Leandro suggested, check out the jakarta-turbine-torque and jakarta-turbine-fulcrum modules from CVS and build those. The Intake which is part of Fulcrum has the capability for localization, but isn't yet fully localized. If you would take a sweep through its code and provide a full localization implementation, it could then be backported to T2.
