Hey Fabio, I just had to learn the scheduler last week. The Scheduler Service how to is pretty good (its here http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/turbine-2/services/scheduler-service.html) You'll run into some compile bugs in the example source(imports etc). The only other problem I ran into was that I was using old jars, which had some old bugs. The solution was to get the latest cvs source and build turbine myself (you want turbine-2.2b1.jar). Then everything worked great.
Of course, if you're using fulcrum or turbine3, this won't help you. Hi, I've come to the point, in my application development, where i have to design jobs that need to run at fixed intervals (each week typically) I know there is a Sceduling service, but have no idea how to use it. Somebody can help me with a clear and simple example. Thx very much!
