http://jakarta.apache.org/velocity/veltag.html A few points specific to Turbine: 1) I didn't manage to get Pull Service to work out of box, so the Pull part of the model is not working for me. 2) Use this to get the familiar $link tool <jsp:useBean id="link" class="org.apache.turbine.services.jsp.util.JspLink" scope="request"/> 3) $content tool is not working.
