DefaultParameterParser.getObject(String)

hi!

what do I get if I call the DefaultParameterParser.getObject(String)
method.
searching the docu, this method returns an object, but in fact it is not
possible to cast the received object.
        Exception:  java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String
        Stack Trace follows:
        java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String

any idears?
