And another one....

...except that it is still in testing stage so if you can keep it between
us and this mailing list for a few days.

We are using the Turbine 2.1 release.

We are using the version of Torque which comes with Turbine 2.1 and MySQL.

RedHat Linux 7.1, Tomcat 4.13, Apache 1.26 with mod_webapp

It is very very hard to learn. In the absence of better (hand holding)
documentation it would be a good idea to have more examples. For instance
should we use Scarab as an example of how to write things with Turbine?

The fact that Turbine 2.2 isn't released and that a lot of development
effort is going towards Turbine 3 is a bit confusing.

I'd like people's opinions of providing commercial support or software
development using open source software like Turbine. There is a quiet
mailing list for this sort of discussion

Thanks to the people who posted "Powered by Turbine" logos but perhaps
http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/common/powered.html
can be updated too? Sorry I don't have cvs write permission - you don't
want a diff for that do you?

mod_webapp note:
The docs on joining a tomcat webapp to Apache talk about mod_jk but don't
seem to mention mod_webapp. I foolishly left my app called "newapp" so my
config looks something like this.

WebAppConnection warpConnection warp localhost:8008
WebAppDeploy newapp warpConnection /oss_support/

but I still haven't removed the "servlet/newapp" from the URL
