Thanks -- that patch works perfectly, and my application is fully
operational under Resin. Alas, I'm not seeing the speed improvement I was
hoping for -- it's only around 20% faster than Tomcat.

...fixed the problem for me.  The patch gets rid of the assumption that 
getCookies() will return a non-null value.


Any idea why this patch hasn't been applied to the trunk?  Cookieless 
browsing is a pretty fundamental requirement in my project.  Surely it 
is for others as well?
