Eric, 1. With the latest torque I am unsure if the patch is actually necessary. Have you tried running without the patch? Can some other PostgreSQL users please comment on the need for the patch? It would be great if someone could update this documentation. 2. The patch is most likely against an old version of the code. Rather than using patch, I suggest you look at the changes and apply the change manually.
