Hi! I use Turbine+Velocity in the project I'm currently working on. I try to keep the templates readable (indention, some empty lines...) and as a result I get html-pages consisting of up to 25% unnecessary whitespaces. That did not bother me much, as long as those pages were fairly small. But it is becoming an issue now, because some of the pages generated by the production server get as big as 230KB.
Is there a way to configure turbine/velocity to eliminate those whitespaces? The html generated by the production environment does not need to be human-readable at all. Any ideas?
