At http://jakarta.apache.org/turbine/tdk/tdk-howto.html,  under the heading:
"Creating your first Turbine application" this should include a statement
about setting "tdk.home": For example, Set tdk.home = c:/tdk-2.2.

Also, a warning about using Windows style "\" delimiters in path values.
Example: "target.home = c:\tdk-2.2" turns into: c:\  dk-2.2 under Ant 1.5.
