Thanks for your quick response. The navigation templates seems the best solution so far, because I wont touch any existing Java files to hook up a pull tool.
Thx - Lukas

I think the only way to have your screen code called is to replace the #parse calls with navigation templates in your layout. If you use screen classes only to stuff data into the context then it might be better to use a Pull tool for that.

Subject: invoke doBuildTemplate() in an included or parsed vm file
Hi there
Is there any way to excute the assigned java file from an included or parsed vm file? For example:
<html> <body> #parse("didum.vm") #parse("bottom.vm") </body> </html>
Well, how can I tweak this stuff that the didum.vm's and bottom.vm's doBuildTemplate()-Function will be invoked? Or is this impossible due to Velocity's Application Design?
Note: This topic has been discused earlier http://archives.apache.org/eyebrowse/ReadMsg?listName=turbine-
[EMAIL PROTECTED]&msgNo=7991 but there doesnt seems to be an answer...
Thanks in advance - Lukas
