Submitting non-english characters to the DB

Hello,
 
I've configured my tdk2.2 properly to read non-English characters correctly from the DB
 
Now i am stuck with the problem of submitting non-English characters to the DB.
 
It becomes ?�U??�U??�?�
 
Is there any known workaround??
