Argh..  I need to update things..  Yeah, I wouldn't recommend using the
torque package.  However, Hibernate, which is what I use exclusively, is
very good, and works extremely well.  And, one of the nice things about the
hiberante implementation is that if your user class extends the hibernate
user class, then any other columns you add to your user are persisted into
the database!  Makes it realy nice to add your own user attriubtes, group
attriubes, etc...

If you are using it in a turbine environment, check it out and run the unit
tests and look at the adapters.  If you are using it outside of turbine,
then the fact that it is a avalon component makes it very easy to use in
multiple environments.

Let me know if you run into build issues...
