If you place the war-file in $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps and restart tomcat, tomcat
unpack your webapplication and you should have the whole direktrory-tree of
your appication under $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps

Example:
Create the warfile in your tdk
cd $TDK_HOME/webapps/myapp
jar -cvf myapp.war (not shure if the syntax is right)
cp myapp.war $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/

then you shuld have

$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/myapp.war

restart tomcat will lead to

$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/myapp.war
                    /myapp

where myapp is the your application you have developed with tdk.
